In my career, I have had the privilege of helping thousands of our clients throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut as both Buyers and Sellers with all of their real estate needs since 1978. Having served first-time buyers, families, corporate relocations, senior citizens, estates, investors, and commercial clients, both moving up, downsizing, or finding that first home, relocating, or moving their business, I’ve learned many things. First and foremost, the most important real estate transaction in the world is yours! Managing the process and navigating the way through from step one to ultimately the closing table is a complicated and emotional event that can be very trying on many buyers and sellers. Our job at Slocum is to minimize that stress and be a calming influence to ensure that the entire event both has a positive outcome and is enjoyable along the way. 

Today, my role has evolved significantly as our company has grown and succeeded, becoming more of a guiding light, mentor, trainer, and resource, always “on-call” for our agents and their clients. I am blessed to be able to provide them with history, perspective, insight, guidance, and technical support regarding the ever-changing industry, transactions, and responsibilities that evolve. Our highly trained, motivated, and professional agent team enjoys this depth of support, which provides them and their clients with reassurance not present or available in many

real estate companies. As an Associate Broker at Slocum, it will always been the cornerstone of my career, and of every agent affiliated with us, to provide the best quality service available anywhere in the real estate 

industry today. I believe our reputation has been built on honesty, integrity, sincerity, community relationships, and hard work. Nothing will jeopardize that reputation, EVER! 

I am married to my wonderful wife, Lauren. I have one son, Nicholas, who is my business partner and our leader at the Slocum Home Team. As the third generation in our company, he is following the philosophy of the Slocum family with all his career achievements and providing incredible technology, industry leadership, and marketing guidance to be sure the Slocum Home Team is always a leader in today's real estate environment. I also have two other step-children, Alicia & Sean, who enjoy their own personal career successes in their fields of expertise. Our three children and their incredible spouses have blessed us with eight unbelievable grandchildren. I enjoy traveling, golf (although only as a spectator these days), the Patriots and Red Sox (even before they were World Champions), and most of all, I have always been an avid boater, where I previously achieved and held my 100-ton certificate and Captain's License from the U.S. Coast Guard.
