Dena Pilla

Dena Pilla is a Realtor® whose path to real estate is rooted in over 30 years as a licensed Esthetician and award-winning spa business owner, with establishments in both Newport and the East Side of Providence. Making the transition into real estate felt natural — she simply traded one form of personalized, high-touch client care for another.

Dena's mission is to build lasting connections with every client, guiding them through one of the most significant decisions of their lives with warmth, integrity, and an approach that feels less like a transaction and more like family. Dena's real estate knowledge is as personal as it gets. Her own journey spans purchasing her first home in Newport at 20 using a VA loan, building a property in Middletown, navigating a life transition as a single mother, purchasing a foreclosure, and ultimately building her dream home. These firsthand experiences across multiple markets — including rejected offers, financing challenges, and resolving an unexpected septic issue at closing — give her empathy and insight that simply can't be taught.

She is also a RISD graduate, a former celebrity makeup artist, and was recognized by RI Monthly as one of Rhode Island's top "Leading Ladies in Business." A proud Rhode Islander who has lived across the Ocean State, Dena is deeply connected to the communities she serves. Outside of real estate, she enjoys baking sourdough bread, designing jewelry, tending to her flower gardens, and spending time with her family and rescue Goldendoodle. She is a proud supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and an active member of her local church community. Guided by integrity, trust, and professionalism, Dena is committed to making every client feel seen, supported, and confident from start to finish.
