Inside sales Agent (ISA)

Location: In Office
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week

Join a High-Performance Real Estate Team

The Slocum Home Team is looking for a driven, organized, and people-focused Inside Sales Agent (ISA) to help power our growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and knows how to turn conversations into opportunities. The ISA is a key part of our lead conversion process, serving as the first point of contact for many prospective buyers and sellers and helping ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks.

As an ISA, you’ll work with inbound and outbound leads from a variety of sources, including website inquiries, sign calls, office calls, online advertising, database reactivation, and portal leads from platforms like Zillow, Realtor.com, Opcity, and Movoto. This is a role built around responsiveness, follow-up, communication, and consistency.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead Response & Qualification

You’ll be responsible for responding quickly to new leads, gathering important qualifying details, and setting appointments for the sales team. That includes learning each lead’s timeline, motivation, goals, and readiness so you can properly guide them to the next step.

Outbound Prospecting & Database Follow-Up

This role also includes proactive outreach. You’ll make outbound calls, send texts and emails, and work reactivation campaigns to reconnect with older leads and uncover new opportunities from the database. Keeping clean and accurate records in the CRM is a major part of the job.

Portal & Online Lead Management

You’ll help manage and nurture leads from a wide range of digital sources, including Zillow, Realtor.com, online advertising, website registrations, Google LSA, Homelight, and Fello AI. You’ll also help maintain strong follow-up standards and track source-specific performance.

CRM Tracking & Reporting

This position requires strong attention to detail and comfort with systems. You’ll use platforms like Follow Up Boss and SISU to log activity, track pipeline movement, monitor lead flow, and help maintain accurate reporting across the department.

Training & Continuous Improvement

We believe great performance comes from consistent learning. You’ll participate in role-play, coaching, and ongoing training designed to sharpen your communication skills, strengthen your objection handling, and improve conversion performance over time.

Team Collaboration

You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager, agents, operations, and marketing to ensure smooth lead handoff, accurate lead routing, and a consistently strong client experience. This is a team-first role where communication and accountability matter.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Comfortable with high-volume follow-up and outbound outreach

  • Organized and able to manage multiple conversations at once

  • Coachable, resilient, and eager to improve

  • Tech-savvy and able to learn CRM systems quickly

  • Motivated by goals, structure, and performance

  • Experienced in inside sales, customer service, call center work, or real estate is a plus, but not required
